Finally, a laser only available in laser clinics has come to Leah's Waxworks!

Candela GentleLASE. It is not IPL or SPL, it is the real thing; giving the strongest results in Sydney for hair removal. The Candela will assist you in achieving a body you can always be comfortable and proud of.

Though we have grown our reputation providing outstanding success as a beauty salon we are now aiming to achieve amazing skin care results! The Candela is a safe, effective and commonly used treatment, providing great results in the removal of unwanted hair, veins, freckles etc. Now you can be free of these things without having to sit through a painful treatment.

Great for those who can't use other laser machines because of their skin tone or hair colour. It is very safe and very effective!

All our beauty therapist have been trained with a certified laser safety course provided by Westmead Hospital.

We would also advise the all clients shave the desired area before treatment, to the best of their ability one to two days prior to their appointment, however if they aren't able to do this we will gladly shave the area for them. If treating a facial area there is no need to shave.

The Candela Gentlelase laser contains cryogen spray (skin cooling spray) to cool and numb the area prior to laser treatment for extra comfort. Numbing cream can also be purchased from a pharmacy eg. Emla cream 5%.

Recommended price in all laser clinics using the Candela GentleLASE is $75 for 5minutes. Leah's Waxworks offers this treatment for $65 for 5 minutes

We insert a needle into the hair follicle and apply a short electrical current that kills the blood supply to the hair retarding growth.

Disposable needles are used for every treatment.
