Leah’s Waxworks Pty Ltd was established in 1992 in the southern suburb of Hurstville. Leah’s concept originated from her friendly personality in wanting to keep her clients happy by giving them treatments they wanted at an affordable price. She always gave her clients more for less, so that she could get a higher turnover of people which allowed her to keep busy. She accommodated for clients all around Sydney. Her prices were so affordable that clients would travel all the way to Hurstville to get a full leg, brazilian and mini facial for twenty dollars. Westfield’s then noticed her high demand of clientele where Leah had been sub-leasing within a small room at the back of a hair salon and followed on to offer her a lease in the Hurstville Westfield’s for a 3 year term with an incentive of $10,000 towards the fit out. This then lead Leah to open more salons in Bondi Junction, Miranda, Eastgardens, Parramatta, Burwood and Mid-City. She stills plays a major role within her company. She employs forty-five staff members and also sponsors certain therapists from France, England and Ireland. She also has created her own soft strip wax formula and will continue to grow in the Australian beauty industry for years to come.

"Thank you! Thankyou! I cannot say it enough!

When I was younger looking and seemingly well groomed it took little or no effort. Yet when I hit my thirties a strange phenomenon occured beside age, the stress of an unhappy marriage was taking its toll on my looks. Through my hormones, I started to grow black hairs on my chin and not one or two but more like twenty to thirty hairs a day would be popping out. My ex suggested I should shave.

I started plucking them, and yes I plucked them daily, morning and night and then I was breaking open the skin trying to get the stubborn ones out. They were tough as any mans stubble and I constantly had sores like bad acne.

This went on for nine years, my self confidence which was already low was now gone.

Then Leah told me that she had just purchased a Candela Laser machine that would not only offer the relief I sought for my dark hairs but would stopthe unsightly sores. It actually assisted not just with the hairs (yes no dark hairs) but interestingly with the overall tone of my face and the sores disappeared. This was just after one session!!

Thank you Leah, Hala and all the girls at Leahs Wax Works for getting this fantastic machine in! The cost is minimal especially when you add up the time and cost you spend on other types of hair removal. The real difference is that I feel good and I am going to try every other part of my body that I want hair free.
